Kate Reynolds and Malcolm Moseley

The combination of works by Kate Reynolds and Malcolm Moseley makes for an exiting start to our new season. Kate’s ceramic work, which is notable for its simplicity of line and form, is exquisitely complemented by Malcolm’s passion for colour and the minutiae of surface and texture expressed in his paintings.

This exhibition celebrates the art of life drawing. The contributing artists are amongst the most accomplished of the discipline in the area. Their collective work displays a wide spectrum of mediums and approachs to the observation and depiction of the human form.

The featured artists have drawn their inspiration from the sea or the elements around it. These initial inspirations have then been interpreted in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, watercolour, digital printing and etched plaster.

John Nichol

John Nichol has exhibited his work widely and has a distinguished list of private patrons. His large scale canvasses, whether in vibrant colour or monochrome, depict scenes of tranquility or elemental energy with conviction and clarity. The exhibition features coastal, rural and interior scenes.

Lulu and Liz’s collaboration is a new ventre with exiting possibilities. Lulu’s work explores the combination of handmade and digital technologies within textiles. Liz’s textile creations are handmade and evolve in the making. Together their work provides a visually stimulating exhibition.
